New sign-ups appear here. A new account has no access to anything until you give it some, so nobody can see a database by registering.
People
Approve an account to let it sign in, then grant it a database at a time. Read can search and export; edit can also change values. A manager can approve people and change their access; only an admin can add databases or change roles.
Databases
Each scanner keeps its own database. Point the viewer at the scanner's data
directory — the one holding inventory.db and config.json. The
viewer reads the columns from that config every time, so a scanner that gains a column
shows it here without any change to this application.
